Platja de ses Illetes

On the western side of the peninsula Trucador, across Platja de Llevant, there’s the fabulous Playa de ses Illetes, which means “beach of small islands”, as it is rounded by several islands.

It is a part of the natural reserve of Saline, Platja de ses Illetes and it’s always overflowing with tourists. Maybe it is the most famous beach of Formentera so it’s always crowded, not the ideal place for those who are looking for relax and privacy.

The area is a sort of paradise: the fine white sand and the sea of dreams will make it simply unforgettable. Because of the strong wind which is constantly beaten, Illetes is always full of surfers chasing waves to ride; There are a lot of rental services for equipment for sailing, windsurfing and water-skiing, in addition to a large quantity of kiosks, bars and restaurants.

Prices in the area are very high. The nearest bus stop is located about half a kilometer.
