Every morning you can have a wonderful breakfast while enjoying one of the famous blended fruit or vegetables at Big Store of Losio and Marcello in Sant Francesc, next to the main church, and maybe you can met international VIPs on vacation in Formentera.
You can eat the best paella on the island at Restaurante Es Codol Foradat, Km 8.9.
If you’re looking for the best pizza just sit at Omar al Sa Olivera, in the center of Es Pujols or at Michela and Alessandro Panperfocacci, in the port of La Savina.
For a nice dinner meat, our advice is “El Gaucho“, in Es Pujols, but for those with a grill available, you can buy excellent fresh meat to the supermarket / carniceria Roipes, in Sant Francesc.
Fish lovers can try El Mirador to Mola (Km 15), which offers the most breathtaking view of Formentera, while for fresh fish to cook on the grill our advise is the bank of fresh fish at Eroski supermarket, in the heart of Sant Francesc.
Both in port and in the centre of Sant Francesc there are a lot of lovely restaurants and nice places to enjoy the typical Formentera’s dishes.
You can have an exclusive Italian dinner at Casanita (Es Pujols);
Don Pollo restaurant is also in Es Pujols and offers the best roasted chicken in town.
For appetizers Chez Gerdi (in punta Prima area), is probably the coolest club on the island, where you can also dine with widely various prices depending on the menu and drinks.
Also at El Moli De Sal (Illetas area) you can enjoy a quiet and a romantic aperitif overlooking an amazing sunset.
For fine dining, classy and high-level cuisine we suggest you the Can Carlos Silvia and Franceschino restaurant, in the middle of Sant Francesc. This restaurant is loved by celebrities that spend holidays in Formentera, thanks to the top-level multi-awarded chef.
Es Cap Barbary from the chef Matteo Martelli, is the only restaurant located in the middle of a wonderful garden of over 5,000 square meters, and bases its excellent dishes on homegrown fruits and vegetables.

If you’re looking for inspiring scenery and tasting novel cousine, in addition to the wonderful courtesy of the two brothers Enzo and Antonio, you can find them all at “Caterina” Restaurant in es Calo at km 12.3.

And to feel completely at home we recommend “The Jovial” in Sant Francesc, that offers fantastic Italian pasta dishes, international cuisine and great feelings thanks to the owners Matteo, Francesco, Marco and the talented chef Giulia.

Evening tips

Start your evening with a slow walk through traditional markets on the promenade of Es Pujols.
Trying a chupito or Herbas Ibizencas (typical liqueur) is a must so make a stop at the Banana’s, in the center of Es Pujols.
Although Formentera is not an island to live strictly at night, there are two valid discos where you can spend a pleasant night: Tipic Club and Pineta Club where you can enjoy the music by DJs and you can taste quality drinks and cocktails.

Random tips

You should go to the beaches in the Illetas area before 12:00, because some places have a limited number of people, so if you arrive too late you can’t get in.
Who runs the island on a motorbike should pay attention to the sand that settles on the roads.
A could way to discover the island is a bike ride so you can enjoy the full spirit of nature of Formentera, You must visit the lighthouse at Cap de Barbaria and also the one of Mola.
Always in Mola, two days a week, you can visit the Hippie Market.
